Ok first our "pizza", low on the fat and carbs, stuffed with lots of good stuff! So we call these "PestoPizza Stuffers".
First you will need:
1 pack of ground turkey
1/2 (approx) cup of mild salsa
1/2 (approx) cup of Sun dried Tomato Pesto
And most important your flat bread wraps. We use multigrain low carb ones so its 16 grams each, 9gs are dietary fiber! They're awesome! We had the Italian flavor.
In a pot start cooking your ground turkey, season to taste. Be sure to add pesto and salsa once meat is almost done cooking.
Lay out your flat bread wraps in tin pans or on tin foil and spread a little extra pesto on them, pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut some thin slices of the Mozz cheese.
Once the meat is done, spread onto flat bread us as much or as little as you'd like. Then lay some mozzarella cheese on top.
Now bake for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted, and flat bread is slightly crispy.
Once out of the oven fold them in half forming a triangle or oval shape.
That's it! Enjoy your stuffed pizza, made with good stuff and easy on bgs!!
But wait! Dessert!!!
We all love Nutella. Adore it. Synsyre and I love bananas. And who doesn't love Filo dough? Exactly.
Here we go.
From any supermarket in the frozen food section, grab some pre made filo dessert cups. They come in different sizes. We like the minis.
Place on a baking sheet. Add a sliver of banana to each cup.
Our serving size is 3 cups. So for every 3 cups use ONE tbsp of nutella. Divide it up amongst the 3 as even as you can get.
Bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes.
DONE!! Seriously, while we ate the pizza stuffers, the NanaNutella cups were cooking.
Pizza Stuffers: 20 grams for one
NanaNutella Cups: 17grams for three.
