Alopecia Induced Swagga

Last week Justice told me he noticed kids staring at his bald spots.

Heartbreak.

We have started the cream steriod but 1) there's no guarantees 2) its not an immediate solution.

I though about hats, bandanas, hoods but those seem like it would draw more attention.

And then it hit me.

His confidence is coming back.

Watch out world!

*Special thank you to Rhonda of "Autoimmune Island" for being a great source of support and knowledge in our new journey with Alopecia Areata.

Awe, that is so cool. Whatever makes him feel better. I know a lot of times Alopecia is temporary. Just keep that in mind...while you wait it out. Our kids go through so much crap, it's rediculous. You are an awesome D-momma to figure out a way to spin this into a positive.
PS...hows those shirts going?

I know I told you several times last night how much I love this, but I also wanted to add that you are one super cool momchick (as Ashley calls it). Seriously, you rocketh greatly!

And tell J that I've heard that Spiderman has a similar fade under his mask. It's just not as cool as J's. I bet Spiderman changes his to match J's soon. :D

That is one cool way to scare away the lice. Make them think your head is a spiders web. Nice!
